What we call "pudding face" in TS3 came from, I think, a post in ModTheSims, where someone said that their faces looked as if they were made of pudding I think that this person meant to say "putty" (as in putty clay), but the wrong word was funnier and the term was coined. In TS3's times, the aesthetics were more inclined towards "realism", and the characters looked like a mix of anime and a hiperrealistic sculpture. The characters in TS3 fit the aesthetic of 2009, while the characters of TS4 fit the aesthetic of 2015.įor example, this, this and this are screenshots from videogames released at around the same time as TS3 while this, this and this are screenshots from games released at around the same time as TS4.
